Our mission


"At Stokeshire Designer Doodles, we’re on a family mission to breed, raise, and train the world’s most beautiful, resilient, and intelligent dogs. With a focus on health, temperament, and trainability, our goal is to create lifelong companions and therapy dogs that bring joy, purpose, and adventure to their families."

Our Breeding Program: Purposeful, Passionate, and Proven - Since 2017!

Currently, we're working with five distinct breeds:

  • Golden Retrievers

  • Poodles

  • Bernese Mountain Dogs

  • Australian Shepherds

  • Mini-American Shepherds

These breeds, in their various sizes, have been thoughtfully chosen to produce well-suited companions and therapy-grade dogs that not only look and feel remarkable—but are healthier, happier, and more intelligent than their progenitors.

Our puppies are hand-raised inside our home and studio, surrounded by an abundance of love, attention, and purposeful interaction.
We follow the Ultimate Badass Breeder’s Guide to support early neurological stimulation and foundational development.

Form Meets Function: The Power of Genetics

While beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, we believe our designer doodles will exceed your expectations in both character and conformation—with genetic superiority at their core.

Though we are not breeding purebreds exclusively, genetics matters.
We select dogs from champion and service/therapy bloodlines and intentionally breed with the theory of heterosis in mind.
This belief—that crossbreeding can produce superior qualities and lower COIs—guides us toward puppies with:

  • Improved Health

  • Longer lifespans

  • Fewer vet visits

  • Enhanced quality of life for both dog and family

Looking Ahead: The Future of the Stokeshire Breed

In the coming years, our goal is to develop our proprietary breed: the Stokeshire—an All-American Mutt, like us—an intentional blend of several foundational breeds, designed for:

  • Modern homes

  • Educational facilities

  • Campuses

  • Therapy & service settings

  • Search and rescue teams

We also plan to continue producing Australian Mountain Doodles and Golden Mountain Doodles.

We take 100% responsibility for every puppy we produce—for life. Each puppy is backed by a three-year guarantee.

Selecting Our Breeding Team

We seek out dogs who are:

  • Motivated to work and please

  • Highly trainable

  • Affectionate and well-adjusted

  • Show strong nerve strength and bounce back quickly from startling experiences

We avoid breeding dogs that exhibit:
