Stokeshire Designer Doodles Deposit/Reservation Fee Policy:

  1. Reservation Fee:

    • A reservation fee of $500 + tax secures your spot on the list for any of our litters. This fee is one-time and transferable to a future litter if needed.

  2. Refundability:

    • Until the listed conception date, 90% of the reservation fee is refundable upon cancellation.

    • In accordance with state regulations and tax laws governing our business operations as State Licensed breeders in Wisconsin, any sales taxes paid on deposits are considered part of the transaction and are non-refundable. This includes any applicable state and local taxes collected at the time the deposit is made.

  3. Nonrefundable After Conception:

    • After the litter's conception date, the reservation fee becomes nonrefundable, ensuring proper planning for the litter's arrival.

  4. Transferability:

    • While nonrefundable after conception, the fee is transferable to another litter within our program.

  5. Pricing Details:

    • Each litter's pricing is listed on its individual page for accuracy.

By submitting the reservation fee/deposit, you agree to these terms.


Communication and Deposit Forfeiture Policy

Responsibility to Remain in Contact: By placing a deposit with Stokeshire Designer Doodles, you agree to maintain ongoing communication with us regarding your preferences, selection day participation, and any changes to your status on our waitlist. Stokeshire will provide important updates, including selection dates, through the contact information you have supplied (email and/or text). It is your responsibility to ensure our communications reach you and to confirm that your contact details are accurate and current.

  1. Selection Day Participation: Each litter has a scheduled selection day, which will be announced on the litter’s webpage. All deposit holders are required to sign up for a selection appointment by the specified deadline. Failure to sign up for selection day or to notify Stokeshire of any scheduling issues by the deadline may result in removal from the waitlist for that litter, allowing other clients the opportunity to participate. This helps us manage waitlists efficiently and ensures that committed clients receive priority.

  2. Deposit Forfeiture Due to Non-Response: Should a deposit holder fail to respond to our communication attempts (via email, phone, or text) regarding selection day or other critical updates for a period exceeding 7 Days, their deposit will be considered forfeited. Unresponsiveness disrupts our process, results in additional costs, and prevents us from serving other interested clients. Clients removed from a current waitlist due to non-response may transfer their deposit to a future litter waitlist, provided they reach out to Stokeshire with a request for reassignment within 30 days of forfeiture.

  3. System and Mailing List Subscription: To facilitate smooth communication, all deposit holders must be subscribed to our official mailing list and respond to appointment or deadline reminders promptly. By signing this agreement, you confirm that you have subscribed to our mailing list and have verified that our emails are not being filtered to spam.

  4. Deposit Transferability: Deposits are transferable to future Stokeshire litter waitlists but are not transferable to other clients or individuals. Any request to transfer a deposit to a different litter must be made in writing, and the transfer will be subject to availability.



Stokeshire Designer Doodles Quick Adoption Policy

At Stokeshire Designer Doodles, we strive to ensure that our puppies find loving homes in a timely and efficient manner. To facilitate this process, we have established the following policy for clients who are interested in quick adoption:

  1. Refundable Deposit:

    • Clients who wish to consider adopting a puppy during their visit must place a refundable deposit. This deposit is required to reserve the puppy of your choice.

    • The deposit will be applied towards the purchase price of the puppy if the client decides to proceed with the adoption.

  2. Payment in Full:

    • The total cost of the puppy must be paid in full before the puppy can leave with its new owner.

    • This ensures that all financial transactions are completed transparently and efficiently.

  3. Online Payment Option:

    • Clients can complete the deposit and full payment process using our online form, which is accessible via your smartphone while at Stokeshire Designer Doodles.

    • This convenient option allows for a seamless and quick adoption process, ensuring that your new furry friend can go home with you without unnecessary delays.

  4. Refund Policy:

    • If the client decides not to proceed with the adoption after placing the deposit, the deposit will be fully refunded.

    • Refunds will be processed promptly, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our clients.


Returns Policy Digital

Due to the nature of downloadable products, all sales are final and we are unable to offer any refunds or returns on the purchase of any products purchased on Stokeshire Presets and other digital products. Our products are only available as a digital download. Once you have purchased through our site we will send you an email to the email address you provided at checkout. In the email, we will provide the link to download the digital product that you purchased. You have 24 hours to download your digital product.



NON-REFUNDABLE PICK OF THE LITTER

Breeders often require non-refundable deposits to protect themselves from potential losses when they reserve a specific animal or litter for a buyer. The deposit ensures that the buyer is serious about their commitment to purchasing the animal and allows the breeder to allocate their resources and time accordingly.

By taking a non-refundable deposit, the breeder can avoid situations where a buyer changes their mind after the breeder has invested time and resources in caring for the animal or turning away other potential buyers. If a buyer backs out after the breeder has reserved the animal for them, the breeder may have lost the opportunity to sell the animal to someone else or may incur additional expenses to keep the animal longer.

Non-refundable deposits are also used to deter individuals who are not serious about purchasing the animal. If a potential buyer is not willing to put down a deposit, the breeder may assume that they are not committed to the purchase and may be less likely to hold the animal for them.

It's important for buyers to carefully read and understand the terms of any deposit agreement before making a commitment to purchase an animal from a breeder. If a buyer changes their mind and cannot go through with the purchase, they may forfeit their deposit as outlined in the agreement.

I understand that the PICK OF THE LITTER is not refundable and is not transferable to any other litter. Non-Refundable PICK OF LITTER. Buyer acknowledges that the PICK OF THE LITTER is non-refundable in all circumstances, including but not limited to if Buyer decides s/he does not want or is no longer able to take the puppy. Buyer Acknowledgements. Buyer further acknowledges and agrees that (a) Breeder cannot control litter sizes and that the wait time for puppies can be longer than expected; (b) the Deposit gives Buyer a “pick” place, but does not guarantee a puppy or that Buyer’s preferences will be available when it is Buyer’s turn to pick; (c) pick places are given on a first-come-first-served basis, and Buyer’s place in line is not negotiable, and (d) Breeder cannot and does not guarantee any specific qualities of the puppy when it becomes an adult.

[Buyer’s Right to Transfer/Refund. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a puppy that meets Buyer’s identified preferences is not available [when it becomes Buyer’s turn to pick a puppy from the selected litter], the Buyer may elect (a) to have the Deposit transferred to the next litter or (b) have the Deposit refunded.] [Refund at Breeder’s Discretion. If Buyer pays the PICK OF LITTER option and then later decides s/he does not want the puppy for any reason, Breeder is not required to refund this payment.

Additional information about if a female does not become pregnant or the female skips a heat, the mating for that female with either the same male or a comparable male to produce the likeness and personalities of the expected puppies from that litter:

In the event that the female dog scheduled for mating does not become pregnant or skips a heat, the Breeder will make every effort to arrange mating with either the same male or a comparable male to produce puppies with similar characteristics and temperaments as expected from the original pairing. However, it is essential to understand that breeding outcomes are subject to nature, and no guarantees can be provided regarding the success of the mating or the specific traits of the resulting puppies.

In the event that the litter is canceled altogether and there is no comparable alternative, the PICK OF THE LITTER may be refunded at the Breeder's discretion.

Final Purchase Price. Breeder and Buyer agree that (a) the Deposit shall be applied to the final purchase price of the puppy and (b) the remaining balance will become due before the puppy is shipped and/or ownership is transferred from Breeder to Buyer. PICK OF THE LITTER does not apply to the total puppy purchase.

Governing Law. This Agreement, and all matters arising out of or relating to this Agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin without regard to the conflicts of laws provisions thereof.



Returns & Refund Policy for Puppy Purchase

As Ethical Breeders, we contractually require that if you are unable to care for your puppy for any reason, we will take the puppy back and look for a new home. If you have had your Stokeshire puppy for a while and are facing personal circumstances that make it necessary to rehome your dog, please reach out to us. We are able to refund you based on a formula; The New Re-sale Price for the dog minus the costs incurred for Boarding & Training during mandatory Bootcamp which is $100/day.

Many frustrations that adoptees have will be naturally remedied within the first year and can be largely remedied with our Doodle School Program. Potty training, whining in the crate, and playful (but painful!) nipping are all very common concerns for new puppy owners. But your puppy will be able to work through these issues with more time, training, and maturity. Sticking to our protocols and guides helps ensure and thriving puppy and an overall more enjoyable experience.

If you need to return the dog due to allergies or some other physical, mental, or medical reason, these terms still apply. If it is determined by a licensed veterinarian that the puppy/dog (i) was “unfit for purchase” or (ii) has a genetic disorder that is identified within the warranty period, the Buyer may [keep the puppy/dog and receive reimbursement for any veterinary expenses related to the illness caused by the genetic disorder, provided that such reimbursements will not exceed the Purchase Price amount. We strongly recommend that your puppy have health insurance. It is required to be paid by the buyers during the period the puppy has been returned and has been entered into Doodle School Training.


Refund Policy for Doodle School

We do not offer any refunds for Doodle School for any reason. Our fees are paid directly to independent contractors and are not able to be refunded.

Throughout the training process, you’re able to review the progress, ask questions, and also communicate to Stokeshire any concerns.
