After 20 weeks, we hope to deliver to you a well-mannered, obedient, and confident puppy that is ready to face the world and grow in love with its new family! While in our care, they will be treated just like they are one of the team. We take a very limited number of puppies for Doodle School and we encourage all of our puppy parents to continue what we have started here. Their journey is just beginning!

Crate & Potty Training

Advanced Potty Training - Puppy will be able to hold it for up to 7 hours day or night in a crate
Advanced crate training - Puppy will sleep through the night in a crate or relax during the day
Will know "kennel" command and will enter from a distance

House Manners & Obedience Building on 8 Weeks Foundation

Stair training
General Understanding "off" command - lessens jumping
General Understanding "no" command - lessens nipping and utilizes for correction
Know "sit", "down", "stay" and "come" - can hold each command for 30 seconds
On-leash walking - working to not pull on the leash
Know "kennel" place command - will go to kennel from a distance (can be used to "place")

SOCIALIZATION
Guidance through the puppy's "fear period" - the puppy will help to not make negative associations with potential fear factors
Guidance through the puppy's first teething period - the puppy will learn what to chew on and what is appropriate mouth play.
Individual socialization time in public
Increased patience with other dogs & humans

HEALTHCARE & GROOMING
All vet care is paid for by Stokeshire Designer Doodles
Regular baths & nail trims
Start on tooth brushing
Regular fur trims around the puppy's face, feet, and fanny
Up-to-date on vaccines based on a delayed vaccination schedule.

NOTE: Puppy will have an adjustment period when it must learn its new environment & people. This may take a few days up to a few weeks.

Payment for this training package is due on Selection Day at your puppy's 6-week birthday

Puppies must remain with us for the full four weeks. additional days may be added for $80 Per extra day. This will continue their daily training. To avoid this fee, please make plans to pick up your puppy by its 8-week birthday.
