Guardian Homed by the wonderful Sherman Family in North Central Wisconsin, “Bruno” lives his best life going to Hockey Tournaments during the winter months and playing with his family of three every day of the week.

He was raised on the shire with the Stokes family and is very well-socialized with a variety of animals and people. His sweet human-focused disposition patterned with his high intelligence makes him an excellent addition to our team. He is 61% Small Poodle, 19.7% Bernese Mountain Dog, and 19.3% Standard Poodle.

His fully furnished coat ensures that each of his offspring will care a furnishing gene and can produce both wavy and straight-haired puppies. His Brown-Tri coat is highly sought after and requires several generations to achieve this coat coloring as brown is recessive. Our goal is to breed him to our brown-carrying Aussies to produce straight-haired AMD puppies. He could also be bred to Berense to produce Ultra or “Reverse F1b” Bernedoodles, which would carry more than 50% Berense genetics, however, these puppies would only carry a brown gene; it would not be expressed.

An F1b Bernedoodle is the result of crossing an F1 Bernedoodle back to a Poodle, in this case, Nora x Phoenix. F1b Bernedoodles are an approximate mix of 25% Bernese and 75% Poodle. They are not to be confused with a “Reverse” F1b Bernedoodle which are the result of crossing an F1 Bernedoodle back to a Bernese Mountain Dog. F1 B can be considered to have a hypoallergenic, meaning "below average" or "slightly" allergenic, coat that is low shedding, making them a good choice for people with allergies.
