Jennifer Moodie

Hi! I’m Jennifer. I grew up on a small farm in rural central Illinois. I have an associate's degree in horticulture from Illinois Central College and a bachelor's degree in agri-business from Illinois State University. If you can’t tell, I really like the outdoors. I married my high school sweetheart, Dr. Matthew Moodie, vet, and owner of Medford Vet Clinic, a mountain of a man with a big heart and personality. I actually prefer animals more than humans, not sure if I’m allowed to say that… just being real.

I worked as a landscape designer and landscape maintenance manager while putting my husband through vet school. I hope he knows what a catch I am! No, really! The yard looks amazing and he never misses a meal.

I currently run a small hobby farm and raise cattle, hogs, chickens, and have several other pets, including Bowser-Rohan, Isn’t he a stud!?

Together, Matt and I have three very rambunctious children who “help” out around the farm and aid in the socialization process for the puppies. Some days I wish I just raised puppies. They’re seriously less messy and way easier to train!

I enjoy working with a limited number of Stokeshire puppies each quarter, connecting with each client on a personal level. While they are with us, they get the added perks of being under vet supervision and care. I work with them through our Stokeshire Doodle School Training Method.

I continue what Stokeshire and their other guardians have already instilled in their puppies and build upon their 0-8 week foundations that include ENS, ESI, Sound Training, Crate Training, & Socialization.
